The Theme Of The Book

Mr.R told us to answer the following questions about the theme of the book ‘a wrinkle in time’.

The Questions:

-What do you think the most important theme of the book?

I think that it is the theme of good vs. evil, and I think this because the book generally the book talks about the adventure of Meg, Charles, and Calvin fighting ‘evil’ to save Meg’s father from the black thing and with them are three ladies ‘good’ that were stars that sacrificed there lives to defeat the evil.

- What was our overall impression of the book. What was the most memorable? The least? What did you like? Dislike?

I think that the book is very well writen and that the author had a very big imagination or memories of imaginations she had as a child. The most memorable part of the book for me was when they were fighting IT and the black thing because there is action in that part but in the beginning of the book the part were they are in the garden talkig and also when they are in the kitchen with Mrs.Whatsit because they are just talking in that part and its really quite boring. I liked the way the author had they beginning setting on the ordinary then when they wrinkle to Uriel it becomes a fantasy and the way the author brought together those two parts was really unnoticeable. What I dislike about the book that every time a new character is brought in the author describes the character a little too much and then the book gets a bit boring.
