Personal Thoughts About The Book
Mr.R asked us to answer a couple questions about chapter 1-4 in ‘A Wrinkle in Time’.
What thoughts do you have about Meg’s personality as you read these chapters?
- I think that Meg is very persistent, but she is very sensitive and every time somebody mentions her father is mentioned being in trouble she would cry and become really sad and angry but after awhile she got over the crying but still got mad but this helped her because it made her grow in hatred towards the black thing. She is thought to be stupid and dumb at school but in reality she is very smart and enjoys math allot, so basically she is a depressed teenager with a difficulty to find good things in life.
Why is Meg Murry unhappy at school?
- Meg is unhappy in school because nobody at school knows the real her and also they make fun of her and her brother without thinking what their doing.
Why does Calvin fit in with the Murry family?
- Calvin fits in because he likes to be loved and cared fro by a person and he also is helping Meg with her social skills.
Where and why do Calvin, Charles, and Meg go with the three W’s?
- They go to Uriel to catch a glimpse of the evil coming.
In your opinion, why do the three children accept the three W’s instead of fearing them?
- Because the three W’s were nice to the children and show no violence toward them and also Charles Wallace trust in them so the other two children also trusted them.
Dear Mrs.Murry,
Could you please have a talk with Meg because her grades have been getting worse each year, I am afraid she might fail the year, I don’t know if it is about her father or not because she won’t talk to anybody about it. So I am suggesting you talk to her and find out why she has been doing so badly academically and also might I seggest you give her confidence boost by talking with her a bout her father.
